Did you used to draw Optimus Prime on the cover of your Pre-Algebra book? Have you ever yelled “Goonies never say die!” out loud? Does the thought of occasionally staying up late, jammin’ to tunes and working all night intrigue you?  (Yes, you get paid for it.)  Can you bring the awesome to signs, digital prints, images and overall graphic production?  
 
JDHgroup is now looking for an energetic graphics technician to become part of our graphics team at our Ogden location. JDHgroup is a creative agency specializing in dimensional brand marketing. We offer full service design and fabrication of exhibits, displays, museums, retail spaces and custom environments for national and international clients.
 
JDHgroup is looking for an experienced sign shop and graphics production guru. A qualified candidate would bring the motivation and sheer will to do great work to the office each day. They would also think of themselves as MacGyver because they could create exceltastic and splendiferous signs and graphics out of most anything.
 
It is essential that you posses strong communication skills. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and work well with minimal supervision. We seek talent with drive and motivation to excel—someone who can accept small and large projects alike and doesn't mind fulfilling multiple roles within the company.

Responsibilities:
• Graphics, image, sign and other related graphic production items.
• Graphic file prep and pre-press for client projects.
• Send graphics files through RIP and workflow.
• Assist in developing signage presentations.
• Print graphics to multiple wide format printers.
• Laminate and finish images and signage.
• File management and project archiving.
• Install and maintenance of client projects off-site.
 
Requirements:
• Practical experience in graphics and/or sign shop related work.
• Adobe Creative Suite skills are a helpful. (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proficiency in working with your hands (layout, trim, finish.)
• Ability to bring the awesome on a daily basis.
 
Bonus Points:
• Previous RIP software experience
• Web Layout
• HTML and/or Flash

  • Adobe Creative Suite skills are a must. (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency in design, illustration and typographic disciplines.
  • Ability to bring the awesome on a daily basis.
